DESIGN & FABRICATION
While steel plate still bends the way it always has, and
it still takes electricity to make a weld, the equipment to
perform these tasks has changed. Our Fabrication
Department has also benefited from changes in
technology. Whether it’s a computer aided plasma
burning table, pulse mig welders, or submerged arc
welding machines, we have the equipment necessary
to satisfy our customers’ needs.
Once a project is detailed by our Engineering
Department, the necessary materials, which include hot
rolled, stainless, Hastelloy, AL6XN, 317LMN, AVESTA
254, C276 cla,d Monel 400, and many other alloys are
ordered by our Purchasing Department or drawn from
our well stocked warehouse. The project then moves to
our Pre-fabrication Department.
Next to take over are our fitters and welders, who are
certified in AWS and ASME. Each operation is under the
watchful eye of our Quality Control Department. Prior to
completion of each project, arrangements are made for
shipping by our Shipping and Receiving Department.
